Really good value for price

First of all, sry English is not my native language.
This thunder 10 is my first dual motor scooter.
I have a Xiaomi 4 ultra (800 usd) and it is impossible to compare.
First the look. Awesome. The only point here is that I would like a bit more of control for the light part but I’ve not tried to find more information about that yet.
Quality feel good. Solid feel confident about riding that .
Power. Just Waow… I’m a big guy (1.87m, 110kg), the start is incredible (I have to put the start power at 3 or 4, because 5 was too much xD), it climb everything around my house (the Xiaomi can’t) and it is soooo fast… the max speed I had on flat road was 59 km/h.
It is stable, brakes are smooth but powerful.
For other details, I like the AirTag hidden place, lights, nfc lock.
I don’t like the code lock (I would like going from 0 to 9 with the -) and the fact each time you start, the gear engaged is eco (I would prefer a memory of last one).

Support is perfect. They answered each time I needed information and even if I’ve received my thunder with a small part broken (stop light cover), they have already sent a new one.

Let see how the scooter will pass the time but for now, I recommend it.

Great Fun Scooter Exceptional Value

I purchased this scooter on winter holidays sale for around $1100 after shipping costs. This is an excellent value and an excellent scooter so far. I have another e-scooter that cost around 65% more and some ways this Splach Thunder 10" wheel model is better than my more expensive one!
Why This Scooter Is Awesome:
- It looks awesome & has a lot more than looks
- Better fold design: both wheels stay on ground when folded
- Better display
- Folding mechanism also comes with secondary safety pin- I had to jerry rig that on my more expensive scooter, plus the folding mechanism failed on that other one, I had to jerry rig it & yet there is still too much play/movement on the more expensive scooter's folding mechanism.
- This Splach is about 30lbs lighter than my other one but has the same high load capacity: 330lbs
- Its getting great video reviews as one of the best or the best value per dollar
- This Splach Thunder has a longer deck than most scooters rated for 330lbs
The list goes on. I wanted a lighter scooter to keep in my car for medium to shorter winter trips & the Splach is performing great for this. The speed & power settings take a little getting used to (they are covered in many youtube video reviews) but once you get used to it this scooter has a lot of pep & speed! Its very smooth & fun to ride.
*Minor suggestions for future models of this series**:
- Slightly larger hole for the folding mechanism safety pin. The pin can be kept snug & quiet with some rubber or similar padding in the safety pin hole but the metal opening should be a little bigger. Perhaps at the factory the pin releases fine but it is a different metal than the folding mechanism so the pin may be expanding & contracting slightly to the surrounding temps/environment at a different rate than the scooter frame metal (aircraft aluminum if I remember) causing a very tight fit.
- Have the display show both dual & single motor mode AND gear/speed setting in a clearly visible understandible way.
- Make both the ECO/TURBO button light & SINGLE/DUAL button light indicators consistant: BOTH button lights should indicate the higher power setting but on mine & in the manual only one button is set up that way; so blue light Should = Turbo setting (but does Not) on the top button & blue light = Dual (motor) on the bottom button (which it Does). On mine the ECO/TURBO button light does NOT indicate the higher power setting. Quote from Splach Thunder instruction manual:
"
"Eco/Turbo Mode: The Eco/Turbo button illuminates to indicate that the current mode is Eco. If the light is off, the mode is Turbo.
Single/Dual Mode: The Single/Dual button illuminates to indicate that the current mode is Dual. If the light is off, the mode is Single."
- On mine the steering stem hook latch that holds it in folded position sometimes easily comes out of the the rear plate latch hole especially in cold weather when the hook rubber cover is stiff & harder to seat. I'll probably modify it.
The suggestions are minor issues & overall so far this is a fun, fast, great well built scooter & an exceptional value for the price!

Did lots of Research and Landed on this.

My family got escooters from Costco for the holidays but they were 400ws and not good for hills, which i have everywhere. So I needed something more beefy. I landed on this due to how affordable it was and how stacked. Honestly love it. It's much better than another one my dad bought for 1500. Love it!
